In keeping with its mission, the Glasscock Center is committed to enhancing undergraduate education in the humanities through several different kinds of initiatives.
- Individual grants are awarded annually to humanities majors for specific research projects through Undergraduate Research Grants
- Apprenticeships with the Glasscock Center involve Liberal Arts majors in all aspects of life in the Center and provide opportunities to meet with visiting scholars, attend Center events, and serve as liaisons with other undergraduates
- Apprenticeships with the Texas A&M University Press give Liberal Arts undergraduates direct experience of publishing, the premier outlet for humanities research, in all its facets from acquisitions to marketing
- Investigative Course Grants support the design and implementation of advanced-level research courses that engage the Center’s current theme and foster related research by undergraduates
