A message from our new Director, Emily Brady:

On May 1st, I became the new Director of the Glasscock Center for Humanities Research. It is a special honor to step into this role, which carries with it the responsibility to foster and celebrate humanities research among the community of scholars at Texas A&M and beyond. It is a real privilege to carry out this responsibility, and I very much look forward to working with everyone at the University to achieve the Center’s mission and build upon its wonderful range of activities.

As I begin the Directorship, I am eager to listen and learn from the TAMU community about their research interests and ideas as the Center moves forward. I will be holding drop-in hours every Tuesday morning from 9-10am in 304A Glasscock – please feel free to say hello and share your questions and ideas for the Center with me. In the fall, we are planning a celebration to mark this new and exciting phase of the Center.

I’m excited to be here, and I welcome everyone to the Glasscock Center!

With best wishes,

Emily
